The development of an individual, personalized, and participatory life plan is a process that requires the synergy of all involved stakeholders (students with disability, families, schools). To this end, efforts must be made to ensure that students’ shared responsibility for their education is always pursued. Based on these premises, the aim of the research carried out by the authors of this paper is to investigate the quality of collaboration between teachers, families, and assistants. This paper reports the first findings of two focus groups conducted with a group of assistants (OEPAC) working in the Lazio region. The results highlight the presence of numerous critical issues, both institutional and non-institutional, which, in fact, undermine the achievement of a full educational co-responsibility and the construction of life plan.

Abstract
The development of an individual, personalized, and participatory life plan is a process that requires the synergy of all involved stakeholders (students with disability, families, schools). To this end, efforts must be made to ensure that students’ shared responsibility for their education is always pursued. Based on these premises, the aim of the research carried out by the authors of this paper is to investigate the quality of collaboration between teachers, families, and assistants. This paper reports the first findings of two focus groups conducted with a group of assistants (OEPAC) working in the Lazio region. The results highlight the presence of numerous critical issues, both institutional and non-institutional, which, in fact, undermine the achievement of a full educational co-responsibility and the construction of life plan.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
