This paper deals with the main ethical and methodological issues of forensic linguistics. As a new field of research that interfaces many disciplines, forensic linguistics still needs to face many issues and the need for communication between scientific and law enforcement experts. In the article, the authors address the main research problems of forensic linguistics in relation to both written and oral sources.
