In the transcendental thought of Fichte we have a deconstruction of classical metaphysics and its particular objects: especially, God as causa prima. In the paper we emphasized that all the criticism to metaphysics originates from the refutation of cognitive realism and the related principle of cause and effect. However, we have demonstrated that Fichte's transcendental idealism is a philosophy that justifies the presence of human freedom and the absolute: In this sense, the philosopher founded a new metaphysics, a “metaphysics of mind” opposed to the “metaphysics of being”. The presence of God is deduced as the absolute which manifests itself in the human consciousness. But Fichte's transcendental philosophy is a philosophy of the limits of human knowledge and avoids defining the nature of the absolute through concepts. It can be said that there is a God as eternal life but God remains for the man the inconceivable (das Unbegreifliche).

Abstract
It can be said that there is a God as eternal life but God remains for the man the inconceivable (das Unbegreifliche).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
