We present a measurement of the branching ratio for the decay K S→and a direct search for the decay KS→e +e- made with the KLOE detector. The analyses use a sample of e+e-→ φ →KSKL events produced at DAøNE, the Frascati φ-factory. Using an integrated luminosity of 1.6 fb-1we measure BR(KS →) = (2.27±0.13+0.03 -0.04)×10-6in agreement with O(p4) prediction of PT. No KS→e +e- events were found exceeding the expected background in a sample of 1.3 fb-1and we derive the upper limit BR(KS →e+e-) < 2.1×10-8at 90% CL.
