The KLOE experiment at the Frascati e+e- collider DAFNE, operating at the f peak, provides unique opportunities for precision measurements of kaon properties. We present the preliminary update of the KL lifetime measurement, τL = 50.56±0.14 stat±0.21syst ns, from a sample of ∼46 million KL → π0π0π0 events, tagged by KS → π+π- decays. The present error on the KL lifetime still limits the accuracy of the determination of the Vus CKM matrix element. We also discuss studies of the branching ratio for K + → π+π-π+ (γ) using approximately 10% of all KLOE data. This measurement would supersede the previous old result dating back to 1972 and would complete the KLOE program of precise and fully inclusive measurements of the K± dominant branching ratios.

Abstract
This measurement would supersede the previous old result dating back to 1972 and would complete the KLOE program of precise and fully inclusive measurements of the K± dominant branching ratios.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
