The articole proposes an interpretation of Lars von Trier film Dogville by embracing the Wittgensteinian perspective of seeing as and aspect change in order to raise a series of ethic, aesthetic and linguistic questions. The contribution argues that Dogville is able to confront these issues in an extremely successfully artistic form by creating a complex ambiguous image and a very sophisticated plurilinguistic device.
